This
is a very exciting year for our school
and
parish family. For over 100 years, Holy Name of Jesus School has
provided and continues to provide a quality Catholic education to the
children in our community. You are living proof
that a good solid foundation in the grammar school years is essential
to the development of
character and the shaping of our future generation.
For
years there has been the dream, plan, hope,
desire to reconnect with graduates, parents and former staff of Holy
Name of Jesus School.
Whether you were with us 5 years ago or 50 years ago, we value you and
consider you an important part of
our school family. In 2008 Holy Name of Jesus held a series of
gatherings and events to celebrate our 100 Year Anniversary. One of
those events was our First Annual Alumni Mass and Breakfast. We
were pleased to welcome nearly 70 alumni back to the school, with
graduation years spanning from 1934 to 2006! This diverse group
gathered to share mass, breakfast and memories from their days at Holy
Name. This gathering will now be an annual event, and it is our hope
that each year we will be able to connect with even more of our
alumni.
